Two ways of measuring the same thing
Whoever runs your social media usually works with what the networks give them: posts, followers, reach. You look at something else: how many tables got filled. There's a gap between those two numbers, and plenty of awkward end-of-month conversations fit into it
It's nobody's fault. Your agency can't see your reservation book, and you can't tell which booking came from their work. Each of you sees only your own half
Your agency or community manager, on the inside
In Omakasia, your agency or your community manager can work inside Marketing, just as your accountant works inside your accounting software. From there they prepare promotions, events, prize draws and posts for your venue
You decide how much freedom to give them. They can leave everything for you to approve, so nothing goes out without your say-so. Or they can have permission for what they prepare to go live directly. You choose, person by person
The posts are prepared by Omakasia, with your photos and the booking link, for Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok. They're posted to your socials by whoever runs them: you, or your agency or your community manager
Or with their own kit, no username or password
If you'd rather not give them an account, your agency or your community manager can work with their kit: a private address, with no username or password. From there they create a link for every post they make
That link is what connects their work to your bookings. Anyone who books from it is logged as having come through that post. No more guessing which post worked
They see only their own
Your agency or your community manager see what they've brought in: bookings and guests. Never your customers' names. Your customers and their history stay yours
Giving access costs nothing, and you can have more than one person working at once: an agency for campaigns and a community manager for day-to-day posting, for example
Example · Casa Marlen, a made-up venue in Barcelona, hands its social media to an agency and prefers to approve every promotion. The agency proposes 15% off rice dishes on Monday lunchtimes, Casa Marlen approves it, the agency posts with its own links and, at the end of the month, both see the same bookings and the same number of guests
You pay them X. They bring you Y
Every month, your agency or your community manager get their report: the same count you see, and nobody can edit it. It's solid ground for talking about results, both ways. A good agency wants to be able to show what it brings in just as much as you want to see it
What you pay them is between you: it isn't in Omakasia. Here you only see what they bring. And in Marketing you see the month on a calendar: tap anyone and you see their results
The same goes for people who recommend you without running your socials: the hotel next door, a tour guide, some holiday flats. As ambassadors, each has their own code and a reward for their guests. Omakasia takes no commission, per booking or per ambassador
When your agency works from your reservation book, their work and your tables are measured with the same yardstick. It's easier to decide what to repeat, what to change and what their work is worth
Marketing is included with Omakasia Bookings, at €20 a month, with zero commission. See it on the Marketing page
