If a venue is full, the reservation is not lost.
Another venue in the group takes it. The customer sees why there's no table, other times, and up to three nearby venues with space, with the minutes on foot or by car. They book at the other one without typing anything again. And management sees how many reservations have been saved, and from which venue to which.
Full here. Book there.
The customer asks for Saturday at nine at Casa Roure and it is full. The page offers Roure Mar, from the same group, 600 metres away and with a table. They book, it lands in the other venue's diary and their profile is the group's.
Why there's no table, and where there is.
The booking page gives the reason: “No table left here at 21:00”, “We are closed here that day” or “No table here for 9 people”. And below, on the same screen, other times at that venue and up to three venues in the group with room, sorted by distance, each with its time. The guest taps one and the reservation is made there with everything already filled in. The confirmation email comes from the venue where they booked.
There's also a group booking page: "Where do you want to come?", with the option "I don't mind which restaurant: show me where there's room".
By phone, nothing gets lost either.
If they call and there's no table, "See in the group" shows where there's space and saves the reservation at the other venue from the first one's floor, without giving access to anything else. And an existing reservation can be moved to another venue: it's created at the destination and cancelled at the origin in the same operation, with an automatic email to the customer.
No maps or external services.
The group decides the distance: for each pair of venues, the minutes, whether on foot or by car, and whether it is offered as an alternative. What the customer sees is exactly that: "10 min on foot". It depends on nobody.
One record for the whole group.
Visits, spend, no-shows and rating per restaurant; allergies and preferences with the venue where they were noted. Shows up in each venue's CRM and in the day's diary. Email campaigns to customers across the whole group, without repeating anyone, with an unsubscribe valid at every venue.
Valid at every venue.
A gift card bought at one venue can be redeemed at another; the same goes for points. Between different companies only if management switches it on, and then the Settlement tab keeps track of what one company owes the other, exportable to CSV.
One dashboard for all venues.
Figures for today, 7 and 30 days per venue, each in its own time zone; reservations saved from A to B; alerts when one venue had people with no table while another had one free; events that sell out and get offered at another venue.
What's shared is what you decide to share.
You always start with one venue; the group is born when you tap "Add another restaurant" or invite a venue that already uses Omakasia. Till, menu, table map, team and invoicing stay with each venue, with its own company and tax ID if it has one.
