In detail
Marketing in detail
Marketing comes included with Omakasia Bookings. It gives your audience a reason to book in your quiet hours, and then counts how many bookings each thing brought in
Promotions step by step or with Slinky
Tap + Promotion and the guide asks six questions: what you're offering, on what, which days, which hours, how many tables and who gets it. Choose a discount, a 2-for-1 or a gift from the house, only on the days and hours you want to fill, and set a daily table limit: once it's reached, the promotion disappears for that day. That way you don't give the whole night away to people who'd have come anyway. If you already know what you want, tell Slinky, your AI assistant, in one sentence and it fills in the answers for you to check before you tap Save
The promotion travels with the booking
Anyone who books from a starred time, from a post's link or from its QR code arrives with the promotion attached, without having to mention it. If you have the Omakasia POS and switch on applying it at payment, the bill discounts the right lines by itself. Without it, your team applies it by hand. And it's logged on the guest's profile
Events with sessions, capacity and QR tickets
A tasting, a pairing dinner, a brunch or a concert has its own guide: dates, sessions, places, price and cancellation policy. Events can be free, paid in full or with a deposit, and the money reaches your account through your own gateway, with no commission. Every booking gets a ticket with a code and a QR code that your team scans at the door, and if a session fills up, guests can join its waiting list
What's new, Last tables and prize draws
What's new announces a new dish or anything you're launching, with its booking link and no prices. Last tables lets people know you still have tables on a given day at given times, without touching your prices: give the real number, set your own or leave it out. And a prize draw is one more reason for your audience to come
Posts, ready for your socials
When you save, Omakasia suggests a posting schedule for Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok. The images are built from your photos, your logo and your colours, and Slinky writes the captions in your venue's tone; you check and approve them one by one. Then you download each image, copy its text and post it yourself, or your agency or your community manager does. Tapping I've uploaded it lets Omakasia tell posts that brought nothing in from posts that haven't gone up yet
What it brought in: every booking with its source
Each post carries its own link and QR code, with the network and the piece built in, so every booking is logged with where it came from. What it brought in shows the bookings and guests that arrived through each post and each network. And the Marketing calendar shows the month day by day: how many bookings came through marketing out of the total, always as bookings and guests, never names
Your agency or community manager, on the inside
Whoever runs your socials can sign in to Marketing, just as your accountant signs in to your accounting software. They prepare promotions, events, prize draws and posts, and you choose whether they leave it for your approval or put it live directly; they can also work from a private address, with no username or password, and a link for every post. They see only what's theirs, as bookings and guests and never your customers' names, and each month they get a report with the same count you see. Giving access costs nothing and you can have several
Ambassadors with their own code
The hotel next door, a guide or some holiday apartments can send you guests. Each one has their own code with a reward for their guest, such as a welcome drink, and every booking they bring in is logged under their name. Omakasia charges no commission, not per booking and not per ambassador
Frequently asked questions
Does Omakasia post on my social media?
No. Omakasia prepares the posts for Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok, with the image, the text and the booking link. You post them, or your agency or your community manager does, from your own accounts. When you tap I've uploaded it, Omakasia knows which posts are live and how many bookings each one brings in
How much does Omakasia's marketing cost?
Nothing extra: Marketing is included with Omakasia Bookings, which costs €20 a month, with no lock-in. Omakasia takes no commission on bookings brought in by a promotion, an event or an ambassador. Giving your agency or community manager access costs nothing either
How do I know how many bookings an Instagram post brings in?
Each post has its own link and QR code, and any booking that comes through them is logged against that post and that network. Instagram doesn't allow links in a post's caption, so there it counts people who scan the QR code on the image and people who use the link you put in your bio; in a story, the link goes in the sticker. You see it all in What it brought in, as bookings and guests
How do I stop a promotion discounting people who'd have come anyway?
Keep it to your quiet hours and give it a limit. The guide only marks the hours you choose, and the daily table limit makes the promotion disappear once it's used up. You can also decide that only people who book with it get it, not every booking at those times. Walk-ins never get it
Do I need the Omakasia POS to use promotions?
No. The promotion is advertised, booked and attached to the booking even without the POS. What the Omakasia POS adds is that, if you switch it on, it applies the promotion at payment on the right lines. Without it, your team applies the discount
Can I sell tickets for a tasting or a pairing dinner?
Yes. Create the event with its dates, sessions, places and price, and choose whether it's free, paid in full at booking or a deposit with the rest paid on the night. The money is taken by your own gateway and goes into your account, with no commission from Omakasia. Every booking gets a ticket with a QR code that's scanned at the door
Can my agency or community manager run my marketing in Omakasia?
Yes. Give them access at no cost and they prepare promotions, events, prize draws and posts; you decide whether they leave it for your approval or put it live directly. What you pay them stays between you: Omakasia only shows what they bring in
Will my agency or community manager see my guests' data?
No. They see only what's theirs: how many bookings and guests have come through their links and through what they've prepared. They never see your customers' names
Are the post images made by AI?
No. The images are built from your photos, your logo and your colours. The AI, Slinky, writes the captions in your venue's tone, and you read and change them before downloading anything
How do ambassadors work?
An ambassador is someone who recommends you, like the hotel next door or a guide. You give them a code with a reward for their guest, and every booking that arrives with that code is logged under their name. Omakasia takes no commission on it
Posting for the sake of it is over
From today, every post carries its link. And every booking, its source
